We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the Ituango Dam rehabilitation, a significant project at one of Colombia’s major hydropower facilities. Our team conducted complex underwater engineering, working 57 meters below the surface to restore the intake structures and ensure the dam’s continued operation.
The project involved addressing high-pressure environments and performing complex mechanical installations with precision. Using Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) equipped for 3D modeling, we identified and managed structural details with accuracy. Mechanical bulkheads and Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) were key to stabilizing and sealing the structures effectively.
